How to Register

Registration and payment are completed through Amilia SmartRec, Varsity Performance Karate’s registration platform.

When you select an Amilia link, you will leave the Varsity website and open the Varsity Performance Karate Amilia store.

Step 1: Create or access your Amilia account

New families will need to create an Amilia account and add their child as a participant.

Returning families can sign in using their existing Amilia account.

Step 2: Purchase the appropriate membership

Open the Memberships section of the Varsity Performance Karate Amilia store and select the membership that matches the student’s program and intended number of weekly classes.

Available memberships include:

Varsity Tykes

  • Varsity Tykes 1 — one class per week

  • Varsity Tykes 2 — two classes per week

  • Varsity Tykes 3 — three classes per week

Varsity Club Recreational Karate

  • Varsity Club Rec 1 — one class per week

  • Varsity Club Rec 2 — two classes per week

  • Varsity Club Rec 3 — three classes per week

Varsity Club Competitive Karate

  • Varsity Club Comp 1 — one competitive training session per week

  • Varsity Club Comp 2 — two competitive training sessions per week

Varsity Elite

  • Varsity Elite — Provincial and National Team Program

    • Registration is by invitation or with prior approval from the Head Coach.

Add the appropriate membership to your cart and complete payment. Prices are listed before GST, which Amilia will add during checkout.

Step 3: Register for specific class days

Purchasing a membership does not automatically reserve a place in a particular class.

After completing the membership purchase return to the Varsity Performance Karate Amilia store.

  1. Select Programming from the menu on the left.

  2. Open the appropriate Karate Instruction category.

  3. Select the class day or combination of class days the student will attend.

  4. Complete the activity registration.

For example:

  • A Rec 1 member registers for one recreational class day.

  • A Rec 2 member registers for two recreational class days.

  • A Rec 3 member registers for three recreational class days.

  • A Comp 1 member registers for one competitive training session.

  • A Comp 2 member registers for two competitive training sessions.

  • A Tykes 1, 2, or 3 member registers for the corresponding number of weekly Tykes classes.

Choose only the number of weekly classes included in the purchased membership.

Step 4: Confirm the registration

Before completing the activity registration, confirm:

  • The correct participant

  • The correct program

  • The intended class day or days

  • The appropriate membership level

Amilia will send an email confirmation after registration is completed.

Important registration note

Two steps are required: 1) first purchase the appropriate membership, and then 2) register for the specific class day or days your child will attend. Purchasing a membership alone does not reserve a place in a class.
